Mechanical Engineer

Brian joined Rando Productions in 2011 bringing to Rando his 15 years of design and fabrication experience for the entertainment industry.  He has developed everything from one-off functional prototypes for stage and screen to long-term installations for theme parks around the world. Brian is involved in all areas of project management, concept development, detailed design, solid modeling in SolidWorks & Inventor, technical writing & documentation. He's also oversees programming & operations on our Flow waterjet & Multicam router.

A mechanical engineer by education, machinist by trade, and theater tech by avocation, Brian has worked with a variety of entertainment vendors including Stan Winston Studios, George & Goldberg Design Associates and most recently, ShowFX before joining the Rando team. Among his credits are Disney’s World of Color show, USJ Fantastic World floats, Cirque’s Viva Elvis stage, touring stages & rigs for the Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood and Van Halen, and numerous film & TV productions.
